AIApply Review 2026: Pricing, Free Plan, and Is It Worth It

AIApply is a web-based job search suite that writes tailored resumes and cover letters, preps you for interviews, and, for an extra fee, applies to jobs for you. The short version of this AIApply review: the writing tools are broad and well liked, but auto apply is sold separately from the main subscription and AIApply only shows prices after you sign up, so the real cost is well above the $29 headline most people see.

A note on names. People search for it as “AI Apply”, “ai apply” and “AIApply”, and all three mean the same product at aiapply.co. The generic phrase “ai apply for jobs” also covers other tools, including FastApply, which we build. That is why this review ends with a direct comparison and says plainly where AIApply is the better pick.

Quick verdict

• Good fit: job seekers who want one account for resume writing, cover letters, ATS checks and interview practice, and who are happy to pay extra for auto apply on top.
• Poor fit: anyone who wants to test auto apply free before paying, or who needs to know in advance which application systems (Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS) a tool can complete.
• The one pricing fact to know: the writing toolkit and the auto apply plans are separate purchases, and AIApply’s Terms call Auto-Apply “a non-refundable product” once applications have been submitted.

How this AIApply review was done. On 11 September 2026 we read AIApply’s pricing page and FAQ, its Auto Apply page and its Terms of Service (last updated 7 September 2026). We checked the company’s Companies House record and its Trustpilot profile, and cross-checked prices against two independent reviews: Jobity (updated 31 August 2026), which went through AIApply’s signup to the checkout screen, and Scoutify (updated March 2026). Both publishers sell job search tools of their own. We did not buy an AIApply plan, so nothing below describes applications we submitted ourselves. We make FastApply, so read the comparison section with that in mind.

What AIApply is

AIApply is run by AIApply Limited, a private company registered in Leicester, UK, and incorporated on 10 October 2023 according to Companies House. The product is a web app, available in 13 languages, with several tools under one login:

• Auto Apply: finds matching jobs and submits applications with a tailored resume and cover letter for each role.
• AI Resume Builder and Resume Scanner: builds ATS-friendly resumes and checks them against a job description.
• AI Cover Letter Generator: writes a letter for each posting.
• Interview Buddy and AI Mock Interview: interview practice, plus what AIApply calls “real-time interview help”.
• Resume Translator, LinkedIn to Resume, and a job board.

When people type “AI Apply” into Google, most of them want the Auto Apply feature, the part that submits applications for them. The rest of the suite is what the main Premium (or Pro) subscription pays for. AIApply’s site says it has 2,064,348 users and that 61% of users get an interview in their first 10 days. Those are the company’s own figures and we could not verify them.

How AIApply auto apply works

AIApply’s Auto Apply page describes five steps:

1. Upload a resume or import a LinkedIn profile.
2. Set job criteria: roles, locations, and companies to target or avoid.
3. The AI scans listings and matches them to your profile.
4. For each match it generates a tailored resume and cover letter and submits the application based on your filters.
5. You track submissions in a dashboard, including which resume version went to which job.

Jobity’s walkthrough reports three modes: fully automatic, hybrid, and a review mode where you approve each submission first. AIApply’s own FAQ confirms you “can review drafts before they’re sent”. That review option matters. It is the difference between a tool that sends your name to 250 employers unsupervised and one you steer.

What AIApply does not publish is where the applications actually go. There is no list of supported job boards or applicant tracking systems (ATS) on its site. Jobity reports that Auto Apply applies to jobs from AIApply’s own job board, and one testimonial on AIApply’s Auto Apply page says the tool “emails those companies on your behalf at scale”. An emailed application is not the same as a completed Workday or Greenhouse form: it may never enter the employer’s ATS the way a direct application does.

Where you still have to step in:

• Logins and verification codes. A Trustpilot reviewer wrote in September 2026 that “Most of the jobs AIApply applied for required registration/login and OTP verification to prevent automated applications, resulting in many applications being unsuccessful.” Sites that demand an account or a one-time code stop most automation, not only AIApply’s.
• Custom screening questions. Scoutify reports that custom questions tripped 38% of its attempts.
• Volume limits. AIApply’s Terms say it may “queue, batch, space, delay, reject or cap” submissions per hour, day or account, so a monthly allowance is a ceiling rather than a promise.

AIApply pricing in 2026

AIApply’s pricing page lists no dollar amounts. Its FAQ says the Premium subscription is sold monthly or annually, and that if you want the platform to submit applications for you, you “add Auto-Apply credits”, sold in packs such as 100 or 250. Actual prices appear only after signup, so the AIApply pricing table below uses what Jobity saw at checkout. Check the numbers in your own checkout before you pay.

The credit math. Jobity lists the Application Kit as a separate subscription, so the full writing suite plus 100 auto applications a month adds up to $78 a month on monthly billing ($29 plus $49). AIApply pricing has also moved around this year: Scoutify’s March 2026 review listed pay-as-you-go packs instead (10 credits for $10, 100 for roughly $39 to $60, 250 for about $79). Two lessons follow. Read the billing period on each plan card, because the checkout shows a weekly figure next to the monthly one. And expect the numbers to change again.

Is AIApply free? Partly. The AIApply free account lets you “experiment with core tools”, such as generating a sample cover letter or browsing the job board. There is no timed trial, and Auto Apply is not part of the free tier. Jobity reports that onboarding ends at a payment wall with no way to look around first.

Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel from account settings, but subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the billing period ends, and renewals are generally not refunded. Auto-Apply purchases are non-refundable once applications have been submitted.

What users say

On 11 September 2026, AIApply’s Trustpilot profile showed a TrustScore of 4.3 from 1,773 reviews, with 66% five-star and 11% one-star ratings. That spread is common in this category: most people who stay with the tool are happy, and a vocal minority had billing or results problems.

The praise is mostly about speed and the writing tools. One reviewer wrote in September 2026 that “The AI resume builder tailored my CV perfectly” to the job descriptions they applied to.

The complaints cluster into three themes:

• Billing and cancellation. Several one-star reviews from late August and September 2026 describe being charged after cancelling, or discovering a recurring plan only when trying to cancel.
• Match quality. Reviewers say Auto Apply sends applications to loosely matching roles rather than good fits.
• Failed submissions and downtime. Besides the verification-code problem quoted above, one reviewer wrote on 10 September 2026 that “the website has been down all day”.

Cons

1. No prices before signup, and onboarding ends at a payment wall (per Jobity).
2. Auto apply costs extra on top of the writing suite.
3. Auto-Apply is non-refundable once applications go out, and renewals are generally non-refundable.
4. No published list of the job boards or ATS platforms it can complete.
5. Recurring Trustpilot complaints about charges after cancellation and about applications failing on sites that need a login or a one-time code.

Where AIApply wins. If you want resume writing, cover letters, a resume translator and live interview practice under one login, AIApply offers more than FastApply does. Its review mode is a real control, and a UK company with a four-figure Trustpilot review count is a known quantity. For someone who mostly needs better documents and interview practice, and only occasionally wants applications sent for them, the Application Kit alone may be enough.

Where FastApply wins. Auto apply is the product rather than an add-on, so the cost per application is several times lower, depending on the plans you compare: FastApply Pro sends 500 tailored applications for $29 a month, while AIApply’s Auto-Apply Pro sends 250 for $99 (per Jobity). Who should pick which

• The high-volume applicant (100 or more applications a month): FastApply Pro or Elite. At 250 applications a month, AIApply’s Auto-Apply Pro costs $99; FastApply Pro covers 500 for $29, and Elite covers 1,000 for $49.
• The cautious applicant who wants to review every submission: both tools have a review step. If your target employers use Workday or Greenhouse, FastApply’s Copilot mode on its published platform list is the safer bet. If you also want interview coaching in the same account, AIApply’s review mode plus Interview Buddy is the more complete package.
• The budget applicant: start with FastApply’s 5 free applications, then Starter at $14 a month for 200 applications (₹433 a month in India on the 90-Day Sprint), or use LoopCV’s free-forever plan.

Four tools come up most often when people look for an AIApply alternative. All prices below were checked on each vendor’s site on 11 September 2026.
