AIApply Review 2026: Pricing, Free Plan and the Alternatives Worth Switching To

AI Apply, also written AIApply, is a web-based job search suite at aiapply.co. The free account covers sample cover letters and the job board, not auto apply. The writing suite is $29 a month, or $12 a month billed yearly, and auto apply is paid for separately with credits. AIApply doesn’t publish its credit prices before you sign up.

We are FastApply, so weigh this accordingly. We build a Chrome extension and web app that fills in and submits job applications for you, and we compete with AIApply. We did not buy an AIApply plan for this review. Everything below comes from AIApply’s own pages, its Terms of Service and public reviews, read on 30 October 2026 unless another date is given.

Verdict in 60 seconds

• Free plan: $0 buys sample cover letters and job board browsing. There’s no timed trial and no auto apply.
• Paid writing suite: $29 a month, or $12 a month billed yearly.
• Auto apply: sold as credits, where one credit is one application. Packs come in sizes such as 100 or 250. The credit prices aren’t public.
• Good fit: you want resume writing, cover letters and interview practice in one login, and you only sometimes want applications sent for you.
• Pick something else if: you want to test auto apply before paying, or you need to know in advance which application systems a tool can complete.

Our pick for that second group is FastApply, because you can try it free and we publish the application systems we support. If writing tools are what you need, AIApply is the broader product and we’d say so.

What AIApply actually is

AIApply is run by AIApply Limited, a private company in Leicester, UK, listed at Companies House. It works in a browser. We found no mobile app on aiapply.co on 30 October 2026, so “ai apply app” searches lead to the same web product.

The feature set

• Auto Apply finds matching jobs, tailors your documents and submits applications, according to AIApply’s FAQ.
• AI Resume Builder and Resume Scanner build a resume and check it against a job description.
• AI Cover Letter Generator writes a letter for each posting.
• Interview Buddy is AIApply’s interview practice tool.
• Job board and tracking show openings and what you’ve applied to.

You choose the roles, locations and companies to target or avoid, and you can see which resume version went to each job. AIApply also says you “can review drafts before they’re sent”. That review step is a real control, and not every bot in this category has one.

What it does not do

AIApply doesn’t publish a list of the job boards or application systems Auto Apply can complete. We searched its Auto Apply page for Workday, Greenhouse and Lever on 30 October 2026 and found none of them named.

Limits also apply. AIApply’s Terms of Service, last updated 26 October 2026, say it may queue, delay, reject or cap submissions per hour, day or account. Treat any credit total as a ceiling, not a promise.

AIApply pricing and the free plan

AIApply’s prices live on two pages. aiapply.co/pricing redirected to the homepage on 30 October 2026 and showed no dollar amounts. The figures for the writing suite come from try.aiapply.co, AIApply’s own landing page.

Is AI Apply free? What you get and where it ends

AIApply has a limited free tier, not a free trial. The AIApply FAQ says you can create a free account to try core tools, and that full access needs a paid subscription. The landing page lists two free items: generating sample cover letters and browsing the job board.

Auto Apply isn’t part of the free tier. If your search is “is ai apply free” because you want applications sent at no cost, the answer is no.

The credit price is the number most people want, and AIApply doesn’t show it publicly. The best outside source we found is Jobity’s AIApply review, updated 19 October 2026. It reports checkout prices seen on 14 July 2026: $49 a month for 100 applications and $99 a month for 250. Treat those as a third party’s report from July, and check your own checkout before paying.

Refunds and cancelling

You can cancel from your account settings. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the billing period ends, and renewals are generally not refunded. The Terms call Auto-Apply “a non-refundable product” once applications have been submitted. AIApply’s FAQ says it handles other refund requests case by case.

Is AIApply legit?

Yes. AIApply is a real company with a real product, and a large number of people have reviewed it. On 30 October 2026 its Trustpilot profile showed a TrustScore of 4.3 from 2,114 reviews.

Legit isn’t the same as right for you. Trustpilot’s own AI summary of recent reviews, read on 30 October 2026, says most people praise the interface and how quickly they get resumes and cover letters. It also says some reviewers saw the automation submit wrong job titles or mismatched locations, and that a few had trouble with account access after stopping a subscription.

When we read individual reviews on 11 September 2026, several one-star reviews also described charges after cancelling, and one said applications failed because sites asked for a login or a one-time code. That last problem affects every tool in this category, not only AIApply.

If you read the profile yourself, sort by newest and look at the last few weeks, because an overall score can hide a recent change.

These AIApply alternatives come from the tools that show up on the same searches. The column that matters most is the fourth one: does the tool send the application, or does it stop at the form? We read every row from the vendor’s own page on 30 October 2026, and no row comes from a hands-on test.

LazyApply sells yearly plans only, and has a 30-day refund policy. How much does LazyApply cost? $99 a year for the Basic plan at the time of writing.

ApplyPass is aimed at software engineers, and the two free figures on its own site don’t agree, so confirm which one you get at signup.

LoopCV has the most generous free plan on this list by time, since it doesn’t expire. Ten sends a month is enough to see how it matches, and not enough to run a search. An email to a recruiter counts the same as a completed form on every plan. Our LoopCV review has the detail.

How to pick between them

• You want high volume: look at FastApply or LoopCV first. Both publish their monthly allowances, so you can work out the cost per application before paying. Be careful with very high daily numbers. LinkedIn’s rules prohibit unauthorized automated methods, and account risk grows with volume.
• Your target employers use Workday or Greenhouse: choose a tool that names them. FastApply lists Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Personio, SmartRecruiters, Oracle Cloud and Taleo as fully supported.
• Your budget is tight: LoopCV’s free plan and FastApply’s free plan both cost nothing to try, and FastApply’s 90-Day Sprint is $38 for 90 days (about $12.67 a month). If you only need a better resume and cover letter, AIApply’s yearly writing plan at $12 a month may be all you need.
• You mainly want interview practice: stay with AIApply. Interview tools are its strength, and FastApply doesn’t compete there.

Auto apply isn’t the right tool for every role. For senior jobs, or where you have a referral, a careful manual application usually beats anything sent by software.
