Is LoopCV worth it? For a light, low-cost search, yes. The free plan is real, the paid Standard plan costs €8.99 a month, and it’s one of the few auto-apply tools that will email companies directly. For a search that needs a high volume of applications in real applicant tracking systems, it’s a harder sell: 100 to 300 applications a month, emails count against that allowance, and reliability reports are mixed. Reliability points come from those public reports, and each one names its source.

What LoopCV is and how loops work

LoopCV (loopcv.pro) is a job search automation platform run by Loopcv Technologies P.C. in Thessaloniki, Greece. It’s a web app plus a Chrome extension called the Loopcv Apply Tool, and LoopCV says more than 50,000 job seekers have used it.

The core idea is the loop. According to LoopCV’s help centre, a loop is one saved job search: a job title, a location and your filters. LoopCV collects new postings for each loop every two hours (every hour on the top plan) and scores them against your CV. When automation is on, it acts on the matches in one of two ways:

1. It emails the company. LoopCV looks up a recruiter’s email address and sends a personalised message built from a template you pick or write yourself. It tracks opens and replies, and lets you A/B test CVs and templates.
2. It fills the application form. LoopCV submits through the job’s own application flow. The Chrome extension handles boards where you need to be logged in.

If you turn automation off, the loop still collects and matches jobs, and you choose which ones to apply to. Screening questions go to a Questions tab so you can answer them once. On Premium and above, AI can generate those answers for you.

Why email versus form matters

This is the biggest thing to understand before you buy. A form submission lands in the company’s applicant tracking system (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and so on), in the same pipeline as every other candidate. An emailed CV doesn’t create that record. It only counts if someone reads the email and acts on it, and at larger companies the usual reply is a link to the portal.

LoopCV counts both kinds against the same allowance. Its plan limits article calls it “any combination of emails or form submission.” So how many of your 100 applications reach an applicant tracking system depends on your loop settings. Check each loop’s results in the first week. Adzuna’s review, citing user reports, also calls email the riskiest feature: messages sent to senior staff and to roles that had already closed.

The LoopCV pricing below is what the plan cards on loopcv.pro/pricing loaded on 11 September 2026. Prices are in euros. One quirk: the page title still says “from €9.99/mo,” but the Standard plan card shows €8.99.

At full use, Standard works out to about €0.09 per application and Premium to about €0.10. Done For You has the same 300-application limit as Premium, so the extra €58 a month pays for the weekly call and CV work, not more volume.

The free plan

The Basic Looper gives you one loop, three job boards and 10 applications or emails. The plan card says “per month,” but the help centre describes it as “10 applications in total.” Either way it’s a trial allowance: enough to see how matching and the email templates behave on your CV, not enough to run a search.

Cancellation and refunds

What LoopCV users report

On 11 September 2026, LoopCV’s Trustpilot page showed a TrustScore of 3.9 from 130 reviews. The spread is polarized: 65% five-star and 20% one-star. The positive reviews mention stability, the interface, responsive support and the dashboard for replies. One July 2026 reviewer wrote, “The inbound dashboard alone is worth taking a look at them.” The negative reviews cluster around bugs, weak matches, submissions that didn’t go through, and worry about low-quality applications reaching recruiters. An August 2026 review reads, “The tool is still full of bugs and doesn’t work properly.”

Adzuna’s review (October 2025) credits LoopCV’s clean interface, Kanban-style tracker and A/B testing of CVs and email templates. It also collects user complaints: no applications submitted despite a paid plan, irrelevant matches, emails to CEOs and closed roles, and refund requests turned down. Pros

1. A free plan with no card, and paid entry at €8.99 a month (or €7.33 a month on 3-month billing), one of the lowest in the category.
2. Recruiter email outreach is built in, with templates, open and reply tracking, and CV A/B testing. Few auto-apply tools offer this.
3. Loops give you explicit control. You can run up to 20 (Standard) or 50 (Premium) separate searches, each with its own title, location, filters and excluded companies.
4. Manual mode lets a loop collect and match without sending anything, so you decide what goes out.
5. The refund terms are published, quarterly billing saves up to 25%, and there’s a student discount.

Cons

1. The monthly caps are small: 100 applications on Standard and 300 on Premium, with emails counting against the same allowance.
2. Emailed applications skip the company’s applicant tracking system, so part of your quota can go to messages that never become a candidate record.
3. Reliability complaints recur: matched jobs that weren’t submitted, bugs and off-target matches (Trustpilot, Adzuna).
4. AI answers to screening questions start at Premium. On lower plans, jobs with extra questions wait for you in the Questions tab.
5. It doesn’t write a new resume for each posting. LoopCV’s own FAQ says it uses the CV stored in your profile for every application, and its AI tools check and build CVs rather than tailoring one per job.

Where LoopCV wins. It’s cheaper to start and cheaper to keep at low volume: €8.99 a month, or about €7.33 on quarterly billing. Its free plan gives you 10 sends against FastApply’s 5. And it emails companies directly out of the box, which FastApply doesn’t do. For a European job seeker applying to a handful of roles a week, that’s a sensible setup.

Where FastApply wins. Every FastApply application goes through the employer’s own form, so it lands in their applicant tracking system. Pro ($29 a month) writes a tailored resume and cover letter for each posting, which LoopCV doesn’t offer on any plan. Who LoopCV is right for
