LoopCV Review 2026: Pricing, Free Plan & Is It Legit?

LoopCV is a job search automation platform: you save a search, upload a CV, and it finds matching jobs and applies or emails the employer for you. It has a free plan, and paid plans started at €8.99 a month when we checked on 28 October 2026. This LoopCV review covers what it does, what the free plan covers, what the paid plans cost, what reviewers say, and which alternatives to check before you pay.

Disclosure: this blog belongs to FastApply, which competes with LoopCV. Every LoopCV figure below was read on LoopCV’s own pages, its Chrome Web Store listing or its Trustpilot profile on 2 October 2026, and rechecked on 28 October 2026. We did not run a LoopCV account for this review.

What is LoopCV and what does it do?

LoopCV is a web app that searches job boards for you, matches the results to your CV, and sends applications on your behalf. It is run from Thessaloniki, Greece, at loopcv.pro.

A loop is one saved job search: a job title, a location and your filters. LoopCV keeps collecting new postings for each loop and, when automation is on, acts on the matches through a browser extension, form submissions or automated emails to recruiters.

• It runs on LoopCV’s servers. The auto-apply page says scanning and automation continue when your computer is off.
• Boards. LoopCV names LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor “and many others”. The plan cards say 3 job boards on free and 20 on paid plans, while the pricing FAQ and the auto-apply page say “30+ job boards”. LoopCV does not publish the full list, so we cannot tell you which number is right.
• Tracking. It includes an application tracker and reports email opens, replies and which CV performs best, with A/B testing of CVs.

Is LoopCV free or paid?

Both: LoopCV has a free plan with no time limit and no credit card, and three paid plans in euros. This is the LoopCV pricing on the plan cards at loopcv.pro/pricing on 28 October 2026, cross-checked against the price feed that page loads.

LoopCV’s own pages disagree on the entry price. The pricing page title and its FAQ say “Paid plans start from €9.99/month”, while the Standard plan card and the price feed both say €8.99. We use €8.99 because that is what the card charges. The FAQ also mentions a “Pro” plan that does not exist; if you searched for LoopCV Pro, the paid plans above are it. There is no annual plan, only 3-month billing labelled “Save up to 25%”.

What the free plan actually covers

Without paying you get one loop, three job boards, up to 10 applications or emails a month, the Chrome extension and two AI CV checks, with no time limit. Free applications are marked “low priority”. Ten sends a month shows you how matching behaves on your CV. It is not enough to run a job search.

What you pay for once you outgrow it

Standard buys 20 loops, 20 boards and up to 100 sends a month, about €0.09 each at full use. Premium raises the cap to 300 and adds AI answers to screening questions. Done For You has the same 300 cap, so the extra €58 a month pays for the weekly advisory call, not more applications.

On every plan the allowance is “applications or emails”. An email to a recruiter counts the same as a completed form, but it does not create a candidate record in the employer’s system.

LoopCV’s stated refund policy is 7 days from purchase, provided you have used no more than 10% of your plan’s application quota. That is short, so decide early if you plan to ask for it. The steps to leave are in how to cancel LoopCV.

Is LoopCV any good? What the reviews say

LoopCV is good at a light, low-cost search and gets mixed reports beyond that. On 28 October 2026 its Trustpilot profile showed a TrustScore of 3.8 from 132 reviews: 64% five-star, 8% four-star, 3% three-star, 5% two-star and 20% one-star. LoopCV has replied to 100% of negative reviews. We read the 20 most recent reviews and the lowest and highest rated filter pages, not all 132.

What reviewers praise. Responsive, hands-on human support, with named staff credited repeatedly. Easy setup and a usable dashboard. A few report getting interviews.

What reviewers complain about. The most common complaint is a large gap between jobs matched and applications actually submitted: hundreds or thousands matched and a handful applied. Others report the Chrome extension not working or needing to be triggered by hand, zero or irrelevant matches, emails sent where they expected a form application (sometimes to poorly chosen recipients), bugs and slowness, refund friction, and no interviews. LoopCV’s replies often put the problem down to account settings, such as auto-apply being switched off or the extension not being triggered. Before you pay, read a page or two of recent reviews and compare jobs matched with applications sent.

On Reddit, the main LoopCV thread is in r/Germany_Jobs: “Do AI-based job application tools like LoopCV or LazyApply actually work?” (June 2025). We read an archive copy of 15 comments because Reddit blocked a direct fetch. One commenter who tried both tools found weak match quality and few responses. One says they once got a job through LoopCV but rates the odds as very low. Several comments promote other tools and are called out for it.

Where LoopCV works well

1. Price. A real free plan with no card, and paid entry at €8.99 a month (€7.33 on 3-month billing). That is among the lowest entry prices in the category.
2. It keeps running without you. Loops are server-side, so nothing depends on your laptop being open.
3. CV-first setup. Upload a CV, define a loop, and it starts matching. Reviewers describe setup as easy.
4. Email outreach and tracking. It emails recruiters, which few auto-apply tools do, and reports opens and replies.
5. You can keep control. Switch off Auto-Apply and use One-Click Apply, on every plan including free, to approve each matched job yourself.

Where LoopCV falls short

1. The same CV goes to every job. LoopCV’s auto-apply page says it “uses the CV and personal details stored in your profile for every application”. You can upload several CVs and test them, but there is no automatic rewrite of your resume for each posting.
2. “Review” means reviewing the job, not the application. LoopCV’s wording is that One-Click Apply “lets you review each matched job and apply with a single click”. Nothing on its pages promises a preview of the completed form and its answers before it is sent.
3. Forms that need more than a CV. AI answers to screening questions start at Premium (€29.99). LoopCV also does not publish which applicant tracking system forms it completes, so you cannot check Workday or Greenhouse coverage before paying.
4. Small caps, and matched is not submitted. 100 or 300 sends a month with emails counted in, and the gap between jobs found and applications sent is the complaint reviewers repeat most.

The LoopCV extension for Chrome

LoopCV’s extension is called the Loopcv Apply Tool and is included on every plan. Its Chrome Web Store listing on 28 October 2026 showed 3.4 out of 5 from 22 ratings, last updated 2 October 2026 (when it also listed 30,000 users). The listing text says the plugin “is currently in beta testing mode”. LoopCV’s help centre lists LinkedIn, Indeed, Reed, Dice, StepStone and GulfTalent as supported, and you need to be logged in to those sites in your browser. Does sending more applications work? Our own numbers

Matched jobs not becoming applications is not unique to LoopCV, and we can show it with our own data instead of anyone’s marketing. FastApply logged 127,964 application attempts from 2,022 users between 1 and 30 September 2026. This counts everything the tool tried, including jobs it skipped.

• 30.2% were submitted (38,606 applications).
• 39.4% were skipped before applying, most often because the page had no apply button or the posting led to an external company site.
• 13.4% failed part-way. The rest never started, were duplicates, had closed, or stalled.

Of the 58,328 attempts that got into an application form, 66.2% were submitted, so roughly one in three applications our tool starts does not go through. Long forms are the worst: Workday completed 44.5% of the time, against 95.7% on Dice.

Volume per person is lower than the marketing suggests. Among the 1,765 users with at least one submission that month, the median user submitted 5 applications, the mean was 22, and the top 10% submitted 46 or more.

We do not have an interview rate. The closest signal is small and early: between 11 and 30 September 2026, 221 users sent 2,813 applications through a relay inbox that lets us count employer emails, and 42 of them (19%) received at least one email whose subject line mentioned an interview, scheduling, an assessment or next steps. That is a keyword match, not verified interviews: assessment invitations are often automated, and three weeks is short. Our guide to how AI auto-apply works explains where attempts get lost.

The practical point for any tool, LoopCV included: judge it on applications confirmed as sent, not on jobs matched or the cap on the plan card.

FastApply

FastApply auto-applies across 20+ job platforms through a Chrome extension and, on paid plans, hosted runs that work without the browser open. The difference from LoopCV that matters most is Co-pilot mode: it fills the whole application, then pauses so you can read it before it submits. An AI Tailoring add-on on any paid plan (+$7/+$12/+$19/+$29 a month) also writes a tailored resume and cover letter for each job.

The limits, plainly: the free plan is up to 5 jobs a day for 7 days, no card. LoopCV’s free plan gives 10 applications or emails every month. Tailoring is an add-on on any paid plan (+$7/+$12/+$19/+$29 a month). The extension needs the tab open and is Chrome only. It does not email recruiters. A web suite of resume, cover letter and interview tools, with Auto-Apply sold on top as credits, one per application. AIApply’s site shows no prices, and the third-party figure in the table comes from a competitor’s review, so confirm it at checkout. More in our AIApply review.

Hosted “copilots” that apply only on official company websites and career pages. Premium allows up to 20 auto-applications a day and Elite up to 50, with resume tailoring on Elite. Only daily rates are public. See FastApply vs JobCopilot.

Suits: someone who wants a hosted agent like LoopCV but aimed at company career pages instead of job boards.

Adzuna ApplyIQ

A free auto-apply feature inside Adzuna, labelled beta, with no premium tier. It submits your existing resume unchanged, applies to the same company at most twice in 60 days, and pauses if you do not confirm every 60 days that you are still looking. There is no review step; you get an email after each application.

Suits: someone with a budget of zero who is comfortable with applications going out unseen.

How to choose between them

• High volume, low effort. LoopCV Premium (300 a month, server-side) and JobCopilot (up to 20 or 50 a day) both fit. FastApply’s Apply for Me does the same on paid plans. If LinkedIn is your main board, its daily cap matters too; see the LinkedIn Easy Apply limit. Whichever you pick, count confirmed submissions in the first week.
• Selective and senior. Pick a tool that shows you the finished application first: FastApply in Co-pilot mode, or JobCopilot set to auto-fill for review. LoopCV sending the same CV everywhere is the wrong fit here.
• A light search on mainstream boards. LoopCV’s free plan, or its €8.99 plan, fits if you want a steady trickle of applications to titles you set yourself.
• Budget zero. Adzuna ApplyIQ is the only one that is free with no stated cap. LoopCV’s free plan gives up to 10 sends a month with no time limit; FastApply’s is up to 5 jobs a day for 7 days, so LoopCV’s lasts longer. Use the free tiers to compare match quality before paying anyone.
