Best AI Job Finder Tools in 2026 (Free and Paid)

Last updated 3 November 2026. Every price and feature below was checked on the tool’s own website on 3 November 2026, unless the entry says otherwise. Prices change, so confirm on the linked page before you pay.

An AI job finder reads your resume or a description of what you want and ranks open roles by how well they fit, so you stop scrolling through listings that were never right. The best free AI job finder for pure discovery is HiringCafe, which searches company career pages directly. The best for US tech roles with a match score is Jobright. If you want a finder that also applies to the matches for you, look at FastApply, Sonara, LoopCV or JobCopilot. Simplify and Sprout sit in between.

We are FastApply, so weigh this accordingly. We make one of the tools on this list, a Chrome extension and web app that fills in and submits job applications for you. We have listed it first because it covers both halves, but each entry says plainly what that tool does better.

What an AI job finder actually does

A job finder and a job applier are different products, even when one company sells both.

  • A finder decides which jobs you should look at.
  • An applier fills in and submits the application once you (or it) have picked the job.

Most finders use one of three mechanisms:

  1. Natural-language search. You type “remote product design roles at climate startups, senior, over $120k” and the tool turns it into filters. Good when you know what you want.
  2. A resume match score. The tool compares your resume with each posting and shows a percentage. Good for sorting a long list, weak for career changers, because the score rewards overlap with what you have already done.
  3. A background agent. You set preferences once and the tool watches for new postings, sending you matches (or applying to them) as they appear. Good when speed matters, because early applicants are seen first.

The real question is not “which finder is smartest” but “where does it look”. A finder that only reads the big job boards will show you the same roles as everyone else. One that reads company career pages will find roles that never reach a board.

How we picked

We included tools that match jobs to a person, not plain job boards, and that a job seeker can sign up for without an employer account. For each one we checked the tool’s own homepage, pricing page and, where pricing was not public, its terms. We did not sign up for paid plans or run match-quality tests, so this list compares what each tool offers, not how accurate its matches were for us.

1. FastApply: best if you want the finder and the applier in one

FastApply started as an applier and added the finder side around it. On the finding side:

  • Job matching. FastApply ranks jobs from Indeed, Glassdoor and 20+ other job boards and ATSs against your profile, and shows a match score.
  • A job board. The FastApply job board lists live roles you can filter and apply to.
  • Swipe to apply on mobile. Swipe right to apply to a match, left to skip.
  • Apply for Me. On paid plans, a background automation watches for new jobs that match a job profile and applies to the ones above the match score you set. It runs on FastApply’s servers 24/7, so your laptop can be closed. Starter, Pro, Elite and Max get 1, 2, 3 and 5 automations.

On the applying side, the Chrome extension fills and submits on LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, StepStone and XING, plus the Workday, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, Taleo, Oracle Cloud and Personio application systems, all fully supported. The extension has two modes: Auto-pilot, which tailors and submits, and Co-pilot, which stops at each step for you to review. It works in any country where the employer uses a supported system.

Pricing. Free: up to 5 jobs a day for 7 days, no card. Monthly plans are $14, $29, $49 and $89 for 200, 500, 1,000 and 2,000 applications a month. Yearly plans save up to 40%. AI Tailoring, which rewrites your resume and cover letter for each job, is an optional add-on on every paid plan. See what the paid tier adds.

What it misses. FastApply does not crawl company career pages the way HiringCafe does, so if your target employers post only on their own sites, pair it with a career-page search.

Best for: people who want FastApply’s job matching and auto apply in one place, rather than finding in one tool and applying in another.

2. HiringCafe: best free AI job finder for discovery

HiringCafe is a job search engine that collects jobs directly from company websites and filters out recruiting agencies, according to its About page. Because it collects jobs straight from company sites, it can surface roles that never reach the big boards. Job seekers can search, filter, save searches and build boards free. Its Talent Agent is, in HiringCafe’s words, “an automated agent that learns your unique job seeking needs and finds the most relevant jobs for you every day” (About page, checked 3 November 2026).

What it misses. HiringCafe stops at discovery. You click through to the employer’s own application form and fill it in yourself.

Best for: finding roles at companies that do not advertise on Indeed or LinkedIn, at no cost.

3. Jobright: best match scores for US roles

Jobright describes itself as an “AI Job Search Copilot” on its homepage. It matches jobs to your profile, autofills applications, tailors resumes and suggests insider connections who might refer you. It claims “8,000,000+ total jobs, 400,000+ new today” and 3,000,000 users (self-reported).

Pricing. Jobright does not publish a pricing page (jobright.ai/pricing returned a 404 on 3 November 2026). Its cancellation policy confirms that the paid plan, Jobright Turbo, renews automatically and is sold in billing periods including weekly, monthly, quarterly and 6-month, with the price shown before purchase. Its homepage offers a free start (“Try For Free”); we could not confirm the Turbo price on a Jobright page.

What it misses. Its job search opens on United States listings by default (checked 3 November 2026), and you only see the price after you sign up.

Best for: US job seekers, especially in tech, who want a ranked list and referral leads.

4. Simplify: best free finder with one-click autofill

Simplify matches you to jobs from a large database, tailors your resume, tracks applications and offers curated new-grad lists. Its free browser extension, Simplify Copilot, autofills applications on 100,000+ career sites “in one click”.

What it misses. Copilot fills the form, then you submit. Nothing goes out without you. Simplify also lists a paid Autopilot that it says submits for you; we did not find its price on a public Simplify page.

Best for: students and new graduates who want matches and fast autofill, and want to press submit themselves.

5. Sprout: best AI job finder app for your phone

Sprout is built around swiping: matched roles from verified career sites, job boards and partners, refreshed daily, which you swipe to apply to. Every plan includes review-first or tap-to-apply, tailored resumes and cover letters, tracking, and both mobile and web.

Pricing (checked 3 November 2026). Weekly $19.99 for 50 applications a week. Monthly $39.99 for 200 a month. Quarterly $79.99 for 600 over three months.

What it misses. There is no free plan, and the weekly plan is the most expensive way to pay.

Best for: people who job hunt mostly on their phone.

6. LoopCV: best for steady, scheduled searches

LoopCV runs “loops”: saved searches against job titles and locations you set, which then apply or send emails on your behalf. It also offers CV checks and a Chrome extension.

Pricing (LoopCV’s own price list, checked 3 November 2026; prices may show differently by location). Free: up to 10 applications or emails a month. Paid: €8.99 a month (100 applications), €29.99 a month (300 applications) and €87.99 a month. Paying for three months saves up to 25%.

What it misses. Monthly volumes are lower than most auto apply tools at the same price. See how LoopCV compares.

Best for: people who want a small, steady flow of applications to tightly defined roles.

7. Sonara: best hands-off finder for US job seekers

Sonara builds an AI-curated queue of jobs that match your preferences, salary range, location and title. You remove the ones you do not want and it applies to the rest. Its terms say the site is directed at people in the US and that Sonara may limit accounts to 1,000 applications a month.

Pricing. On Sonara’s plan screen at signup (checked 3 November 2026): a $2.95 trial for 14 days, then $23.95 billed every 4 weeks, or annual access at $5.95 a month. Sonara has no public pricing page. The subscription renews at the next renewal date or your 11th application, whichever comes first.

What it misses. It is directed at the US, and a billing period can end early if it applies quickly. Read our Sonara review before you sign up.

Best for: US job seekers who want to approve a queue and let it run.

8. JobCopilot: best for daily matches with a review step

JobCopilot runs “copilots” that find job matches every day and can apply automatically or save applications for you to review first.

Pricing (checked 3 November 2026). Premium from $0.93 a day: 1 copilot, up to 20 job matches daily. Elite from $1.05 a day: 3 copilots, up to 50 job matches daily, plus a tailored resume per application. Weekly, monthly and quarterly billing are offered.

What it misses. There is no free plan, and the per-day pricing is easy to underestimate over a month. Our JobCopilot review has the detail.

Best for: people who want a fixed number of fresh matches a day and a chance to check them.

Also considered

Huntr is a job tracker with a Chrome job clipper and free autofill, plus AI resumes on its $40-a-month Pro plan (pricing, checked 3 November 2026). It helps you organise jobs you find elsewhere rather than finding them for you. GigFinder describes itself as an “AI Job Matching Platform for Employers & Job Seekers” (checked 3 November 2026); we did not test its matching, so it is not ranked here.

Do you need a finder, an applier, or both?

You are not sure what roles to target. Use a finder. HiringCafe or Simplify, both free, will show you what exists without committing you to applying.

You know the role and the problem is time. Use an applier, or a tool that does both. Form filling is where the hours go, and a finder alone does not save them.

You apply in volume across several job titles or cities. Use a background agent that finds and applies: FastApply’s Apply for Me, Sonara, LoopCV or JobCopilot. Set the match threshold high enough that it only applies to roles you would have chosen yourself.

What to watch before you pay

  • Where it looks. Boards only, or company career pages too.
  • Which countries. Several tools on this list are US-focused.
  • Billing period. Weekly and 4-weekly plans cost more over a year than they look.
  • Renewal triggers. Some trials renew on usage, not just on a date.
  • Whether you can review. If a tool applies for you, check you can see what was sent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a free AI job finder?

Yes. HiringCafe is free for job seekers and searches company career pages directly. Simplify’s job matching and its Copilot autofill extension are free. FastApply has a free plan of up to 5 jobs a day for 7 days with no card, which covers both finding and applying.

Can AI find jobs based on my resume?

Yes. Jobright, Simplify and FastApply compare your resume or profile with each posting and rank the results. Match scores reward overlap with your past roles, so if you are changing careers, search by the role you want as well as relying on the score.

Is there an AI job finder app for phones?

Sprout is built for mobile, with swipe to apply on its plans. FastApply also offers swipe to apply on mobile, where you swipe right to apply to a match and left to skip.

Do AI job finders apply for you as well?

Some do. FastApply, Sonara, LoopCV, JobCopilot and Sprout can submit applications. HiringCafe only finds jobs, and Simplify’s free Copilot fills in the form but leaves the submit button to you.

Are AI job finder matches actually accurate?

They are good at sorting a long list by overlap with your resume, and weaker at judging fit for a career change or telling near-duplicate postings apart. Treat a match score as a filter, not a decision, and read the posting before you apply.

Conclusion

If you only need to find roles, start free with HiringCafe or Simplify. If you are applying in volume, a finder alone does not save you the hours, so pick a tool that finds and applies, and set its match threshold so it only picks jobs you would have chosen yourself.
