Teal Review 2026: Pricing, Free Plan, and Limits

Teal is a legitimate job tracker and resume builder. The free plan covers unlimited resumes and job tracking, and Teal+ unlocks the AI and keyword tools at $13 for 7 days, $29 for 30 days or $79 for 90 days. Teal doesn’t submit applications: you still apply to every job yourself.

We are FastApply, so weigh this accordingly. FastApply is a Chrome extension and web app that fills in and submits job applications for you, which puts us next to Teal in a job search. We did not run hands-on tests for this Teal review. Prices come from Teal’s pricing page, checked on 30 October 2026, and they may differ by country.

What is Teal?

Teal is a job search workspace from tealhq.com, and it has four main parts.

• A job tracker. You bookmark jobs, set goals, take notes and track each application’s status.
• A resume builder. You keep several versions of your resume, and Teal gives feedback as you write.
• A Chrome extension. Its Chrome Web Store listing describes saving jobs, contacts, companies and resumes in one place. We found no mention of filling in application forms there.
• Keyword matching. You attach a job posting and Teal highlights the keywords in it, so you can tailor your resume.

So Teal helps you prepare and stay organized. The application itself stays with you.

Teal pricing has two levels, Free Forever and Teal+. Teal+ is sold by time period, not by month or year.

Is Teal free? What the free plan covers

Yes. Teal’s Free Forever plan has no time limit, and it covers more than most free plans do.

The limit that matters most is AI. Free gives you a small number of credits for bullets, summaries and cover letters, so it’s a taster rather than a writing tool.

Teal+: does the maths favour weekly or 90 days?

For most searches, 90 days is the right plan. A job search can run for months, and the shorter plans cost more per day.

Do the sum for a three-month search. Thirteen weeks at $13 a week comes to $169. Three 30-day periods at $29 come to $87. One 90-day plan is $79. The weekly plan only makes sense if you need one burst of AI editing, for example before a single important application.

What Teal does well

The job tracker. This is the best reason to use Teal. It works like a small CRM for your search, with statuses, notes and a single view of what you’ve applied to. Unlimited tracking on the free plan is the headline feature, and for many people it’s enough.

Saving jobs as you browse. The extension puts postings into your tracker without copying and pasting, which keeps the tracker up to date.

Keyword matching. Attaching a posting and seeing which keywords are missing is a fast way to tailor a resume by hand. The free plan shows the top five, and Teal+ shows the rest.

A real free plan. Many tools in this space offer a short trial. Teal’s free plan doesn’t expire, and you can run a whole search on it if you’re happy to do your own writing.

Where Teal falls short

It doesn’t apply for you. Teal has no auto apply. You open each posting, fill in each form and press submit yourself. Teal’s tracker records the work, and doesn’t reduce it.

The AI is behind the paywall. The free credits run out quickly, so serious rewriting needs Teal+.

Short plans add up. The $13 weekly plan looks small, but it’s the most expensive way to pay, as the sums above show.

AI drafts still need editing. That’s true of every AI writing tool. Read each bullet before you use it, and remove anything you didn’t do.

Teal is the better choice if you want a free tracker and you’re happy to apply by hand. For senior roles, or jobs you reached through a referral, that careful manual approach is often the right one. FastApply fills and submits the application itself, so it suits you better when the hours you spend on forms are the problem.
