Is Loopcv Legit? An Honest 2026 Review of the Evidence

Short answer: yes, Loopcv is legit. It’s a real company (based in Thessaloniki, Greece) that has been automating job applications for several years, with a published pricing page, a free Basic plan, a stated refund policy, and more than 50,000 users by its own count. It is not a scam. The honest question isn’t whether Loopcv is real, it’s whether it actually applies to as many jobs as it finds, and whether the model fits your search. What Loopcv Actually Is

Loopcv is an AI job-search automation platform, a web app plus a Chrome extension it calls the “Loopcv Apply Tool.” You upload your CV, set job preferences, and Loopcv scans job boards, matches roles to your profile, and submits applications on your behalf. Per its pricing page, paid plans cover 20 job boards (3 on the free plan), and LoopCV says more than 50,000 job seekers have used it.

The mechanic Loopcv is known for is the “loop”: a saved search query (role, location, filters) that runs on a schedule and auto-applies to matches. You can run several loops in parallel. It also ships add-on AI features, an AI CV checker, AI CV builder, AI question answering for screening questions, and a job application tracker.

None of that is vaporware. Loopcv has a real product, a real team, a public Trustpilot profile, and an established (largely European) user base. On the basic legitimacy test, it passes.

The Rating: What Reviewers Actually Say

On Trustpilot, Loopcv sits at 3.9 out of 5 from 130 reviews as of 11 September 2026. That’s a “mostly positive but genuinely mixed” score, not the near-flawless rating some tools buy, and not a reputation in crisis. The distribution is polarized: a large share of 5-star reviews and a meaningful cluster of 1-star ones. That split is the real story, so it’s worth understanding what drives each side.

What the happy reviewers praise: ease of setup, the volume of applications the tool can push out, and, repeatedly, responsive customer support. Support responsiveness comes up by name often enough that it’s clearly a real strength.

The most common complaint is a gap between the number of jobs Loopcv says it matched and the number it actually applied to. Multiple reviewers describe finding thousands of “matches” but seeing far fewer applications actually submitted, often because an “Easy Apply” button wasn’t found, a board’s flow changed, or a posting required steps the automation couldn’t complete. If you’re evaluating Loopcv, read a page or two of the recent Trustpilot reviews yourself and judge whether that pattern would affect your target boards.

This is not unique to Loopcv, every auto-apply tool hits walls on certain ATS flows, but it’s the thing to verify before you pay, because “matches” and “submitted applications” are not the same number.

Pricing and the Free Tier

Loopcv’s biggest trust advantage is that you can try it without a card. Its free Basic plan lets you set up your CV and one loop and send up to 10 applications or emails with no payment details (the plan card says 10 a month; the help centre describes it as 10 in total). Paid plans start at €8.99 a month for Standard, which raises the allowance to 100 applications or emails a month across 20 job boards.

As of 11 September 2026, the tiers are Basic (free), Standard (€8.99 a month, 100 applications or emails), Premium (€29.99 a month, 300, with AI answers to screening questions) and Done For You (€87.99 a month, 300, plus a weekly advisory call). Billed every 3 months, the paid plans cost €22, €67.47 and €197.97, and emails and form submissions count against the same allowance. Loopcv has changed its plans before, so check the current pricing page for the live tiers. What matters for a legitimacy review is the shape: a real free plan (no card), transparent paid pricing, and cancel-anytime billing where you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

The Refund Policy (This One’s Concrete)

Unlike some competitors that bury or omit refund terms, Loopcv publishes one. Per its pricing FAQ: Loopcv offers refunds within 7 days of purchase if you have not used more than 10% of your plan’s application quota, requested through its contact page. There’s also a stated student-discount program.

That’s a narrow window, and the “under 10% of quota” condition means if you let the tool run hard in your first days, you can spend past the refund threshold quickly. So, Is Loopcv Worth It?

Legit and worth-it are different questions. Loopcv is legit. Whether it’s worth it depends on you:

• Casual, long-term search? The free plan is a genuine $0 option, hard to argue with.
• You prefer configuring your own searches? The loop model gives you explicit control most tools don’t.
• You apply mostly through LinkedIn and mainstream boards? Loopcv is squarely in its lane.

Where people get frustrated is the match-vs-apply gap and coverage on enterprise ATS flows (Workday, Greenhouse, and company career pages), which is exactly where a wider-coverage tool earns its keep.
