How to Cancel Loopcv (And Get a Refund) in 2026
Short answer: Cancel the subscription from your Loopcv account settings, this stops the renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. If you’re inside the refund window, Loopcv publishes a real policy: refunds within 7 days of purchase, as long as you’ve used less than 10% of your plan’s application quota, requested through its contact page. If you’re outside that window and support declines, a card dispute is your backup.
Good news, unlike some competitors, Loopcv actually documents its refund terms, so this is more straightforward than most cancellations. Here’s the full process.
Disclosure: I’m the founder of FastApply, which competes with Loopcv. This guide is built around Loopcv’s own published billing and refund terms, not my opinion. Confirm the current terms on loopcv.pro before you act, policies change.
First, Understand What You’re Cancelling
Loopcv is a subscription. Two facts from its own billing terms matter here:
First, cancelling stops the renewal but doesn’t end your access immediately. Per Loopcv, you can cancel anytime from your account settings and you keep the plan until the end of the current billing period. So there’s no rush to cancel the second you decide, you won’t lose paid time by doing it.
Second, the refund window is short and quota-sensitive. Loopcv’s stated policy is a refund within 7 days of purchase only if you’ve used under 10% of your plan’s application quota. Because auto-apply can burn through applications fast, it’s entirely possible to pass the 10% mark within a day or two of heavy use. If you think you might want a refund, stop the loops running and act quickly.
Step 1: Cancel the Subscription in Account Settings
Log in to your Loopcv account and open your account or billing settings. Cancel the subscription there. Per Loopcv, this stops future charges and you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
Screenshot the cancellation confirmation and note the date. If a charge lands afterward, or you later need to dispute, timestamped proof of when you cancelled is exactly what a card issuer wants to see.
Step 2: If You’re Within 7 Days, Request the Refund
If it’s been under 7 days since your purchase and you’ve used less than 10% of your application quota, you qualify under Loopcv’s published policy. Request the refund through Loopcv’s contact page. Keep it factual and specific:
Subject: Refund request — order dated [date], account [[email protected]]
Hello,
I’m requesting a refund under your 7-day policy. I purchased on [date], which is within 7 days, and I have used less than 10% of my plan’s application quota. Please process the refund to the original payment method.
Thank you.
Naming the policy back to them (“under your 7-day policy”) and confirming you meet both conditions (within 7 days, under 10% quota) makes this an easy approval for support and hard to wave off.
Step 3: If You’re Outside the Window
If it’s been more than 7 days, or you’ve already used more than 10% of your quota, you’re outside Loopcv’s stated policy, and support may decline. You still have options:
Ask anyway, politely. Published policies are floors, not ceilings. If the tool underperformed for a documented reason (few applications actually submitted versus matches shown, a board flow that didn’t work), lay that out factually and ask whether they’ll make an exception. Support responsiveness is one of Loopcv’s better-reviewed traits, so a reasonable, specific request has a real chance.
If they say no, and you paid by card, dispute the charge. File with your card issuer citing “service not as described” if the application volume was a small fraction of what you paid for. Attach: your cancellation screenshot (Step 1), your refund request and Loopcv’s reply, a screenshot of Loopcv’s posted refund terms, and one or two factual sentences on what wasn’t as described (“Plan quota was N applications; dashboard shows M actually submitted”). Card issuers expect you to try the merchant first, which is why Steps 2 and 3 come before this.
What to Switch To
The reason a Loopcv cancellation can sting is the refund window: you pay upfront, and if the volume disappoints or the match-vs-apply gap bites, you may already be past the 10%-quota threshold before you realize it.
FastApply is built the other way around. You get 5 free applications with no card on file, so you see whether the matching engine and ATS coverage actually work for your field before any money moves. If it doesn’t fit, there’s nothing to cancel and no window to race. If it does, you pick a plan then.

What Not to Do
Don’t keep the loops running if you might want a refund. Every application spent moves you toward the 10%-quota ceiling that voids the refund. Pause first, decide second.
Don’t call your bank before contacting Loopcv. Card issuers expect a documented attempt to resolve with the merchant. Skipping it can get your dispute bounced back.
Don’t buy a big plan to “see if it works.” With a 7-day, 10%-quota refund window, the safe move is to test on the free plan first, confirm your target boards produce real submitted applications (not just matches), and only then pay.
